How Does a Tree Work?

  • May 23
  • 1:00pm

Join Delaware Highlands Conservancy for an exciting deep dive into the inner workings of a tree! While you may already know how to identify different types of trees, this session will go beyond that. We’ll explore the fascinating processes that allow a tree to grow, thrive, and interact with its environment, from how trees transport water and nutrients to the vital roles they play in ecosystems. This program is both indoor and outdoor, so please be prepared to walk on sloped terrain, wear closed-toe shoes and clothes that are comfortable for the weather.
