Samba is located in the heart of Jeffersonville, at the foot of the Catskill mountains, 2 hours from New York City and 8 miles from Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. The café has two separate guest cottages. It resides on the quaint main street of this charming creekside village. Walk to shops, bars and restaurants. WiFi is free in the café, a vivid eatery with retro touches, serving rustic Latin fare. The Market Place has a wide selection of farmhouse gifts, books, ceramic, lamps, and housewares. There is also great Brazilian coffee, juices, espresso, cappuccino, lattes, pastries, snacks and gourmet foods. Food baskets, cakes and pies are available during the holidays. The two cottages are decorated in a cozy, country style. Both have a private bathroom, cable, air-conditioning, kitchenettes and sitting areas. Kids are welcome, and dogs stay free. The owners are New York City transplants that love Sullivan County. Samba is open on the weekends in the Spring, Summer and Fall serving brunch Saturday and Sunday (11-3), and Dinner on Saturdays (5-9). Wine and beer are available. The marketplace is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday (11-4).
