At The North Branch Inn, we see hospitality, a calling. We are deeply committed to providing heartfelt care and comfort within a beautiful setting, viewing it as an honorable and passionate endeavor. Our approach to hospitality is thoughtful, intentional, and sustainable. We honor tradition through whole-animal butchery, ensuring nothing goes to waste. Wherever possible, we grow our own produce, committing the labor of love necessary to serve only top-quality fare. This philosophy guides every aspect of our operation, allowing us to create an inn that is both a haven for guests and a sustainable and cherished part of our broader community. Our restaurant located in the Main Inn is open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday from 5-9:30pm.
The fourteen rooms at The North Branch Inn are housed across three buildings representing the history of the hamlet of North Branch: the Main Inn, built as a pub and lodging house in 1868, the Library House, an elegant, stately building with a sitting area featuring a wood stove and plenty of games and reading material to pass the time and finally the Post Office building, a large Victorian-era building features a two-room common area, five guest rooms, and tons of vintage charm. For decades, the building was home to the North Branch Post Master, and thus, according to tradition, also served as the local post office.
