Americana, Folk and Bluegrass at the Museum

October 6 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

The Sullivan County Historical Society’s First Sunday Music in History program will feature musical performances and a discussion on the impact of acoustic instruments in North America. We will showcase some of the uniquely American styles of music such as Bluegrass, old time Country and Americana. There will be several examples of instruments on display including banjos, guitars and mandolins.
Returning to the series is Mike Baglione, a renowned guitarist and luthier who was featured in the very first Music in History series program.  Also returning is Steve and Clancey Lane, who were well received in their performance with the Museum’s Woodsongs Coffeehouse series, several years ago.  The program is hosted by Little Sparrow and you can count on some great collaborations (Jam sessions) among this expert group of musicians.
