Leaf-peeping hikes, cozy places to stay, pumpkin patches, local hard ciders, bonfires—there’s so much to do in the Sullivan Catskills this fall.

Take in the leaves

Now is the time when our foliage explodes with colorful vibrancy in hues of golden yellows, reds, oranges, and amber. And you’ll have lots of opportunities to take in the scenic views. Head out for a hike on one of our many trails, from easy to difficult. (Pro tip: hike Jensen Ledges for way-up-high views of the Delaware River). You’ll find all of the hikes in Sullivan County on TrailKeeper.

Or take in the foliage from the road as you head out for a scenic drive. While any spot in the Sullivan Catskills is sure to provide peak views, travel down the Upper Delaware Scenic Byway that runs along the Delaware River, passing through small hamlets along the way, ending at Hawk’s Nest, where you can pull off for breathtaking views.

Discover the Sullivan Catskills Dove Trail
