Supporting Tourism Growth in Sullivan County
The Sullivan County Visitors Association offers three distinct funding programs designed to enhance tourism, support community initiatives, and promote Sullivan County as a premier destination. Each program serves a different purpose and has specific eligibility requirements.


Event Grants
One-time funding for tourism events organized by non-profit organizations
- For 501(c) non-profit organizations only
- Tourism-focused events with clear start/end dates
- Funding range: $500-$5,000
- Rolling applications accepted year-round
- Quick 15-business-day decision timeline
Ideal for:
Established museums, arts organizations, tourism attractions, and other entities that drive consistent visitor traffic to Sullivan County
Annual Grants
Operational funding for established tourism organizations
- Year-round support for tourism infrastructure
- For organizations with proven tourism impact
- Funding based on organizational value and impact
- Annual application deadline: November 1
- Quarterly reporting requirements
Ideal for:
Established museums, arts organizations, tourism attractions, and other entities that drive consistent visitor traffic to Sullivan County
Sponsorships
Marketing partnerships for community events and initiatives
- Open to businesses, non-profits, and community groups
- Focused on SCVA brand exposure and visibility
- Funding range: $250-$3,000
- Rolling applications with quick decisions

Application Process
All applications are reviewed by an SCVA committee based on specific criteria for each program. Successful applicants must complete follow-up reporting to remain eligible for future funding.
