John Pizzolato is co owner and co founder of Stickett Inn and Stickett Inn Cider Company in Barryville, NY, with an outpost in NYC’s East Village. For over 10 years, the inn and cidery has hosted a bevy of incredible guests and luminaries, many of which have gone on to make Sullivan County their home. Johnny sits on the Greater Barryville Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and is an ex-officio member of Sullivan Catskills Visitor’s Association and Upper Delaware Scenic Byway Committee, where he served as chairperson for two years. Johnny was the lead teaching artist in 2019 and 2021 of Bethel Woods PLAY music theatre program. He was recently honored at the 34th Annual Upper Delaware Council Awards where he received the Community Service Award for his work on the Upper Delaware Litter Sweep, the Barryville Farmers’ Market, Town of Highland River Access projects, and the Festival of the Founding Fish. He is co host of the upcoming Heritage Network podcast, “Everything’s Better in Barryville”, a tribute to small town living. Pizzolato has lived in Barryville with his husband Roswell Hamrick since 2005. An Illinois-native, Johnny attended Hofstra University, where he received his degree in performance and production. He’s honored to be nominated for the SCVA board and would love to continue the great work of promoting our beautiful area.
