SUMMARY:97th Annual Sullivan County Volunteer Firemen's Association Parade
DESCRIPTION:Sullivan County’s volunteer fire departments come together for the 97th Annual SCVFA Parade\, hosted by the Grahamsville Fire Department. This year’s parade marks three milestones at once: the department’s 80th anniversary\, the 25th anniversary of 9/11\, and the 250th anniversary of American independence. The day kicks off with truck judging and officer check-in from 9 AM–12 PM\, followed by line-up at noon and the parade at 1 PM. Stick around afterward for family activities and firefighter competitions\, with an awards ceremony around 5 PM. Route 42 will have a closure starting at 9:30 AM for parade setup; a shuttle bus runs from the fairgrounds to the line-up point from 9 AM–12:30 PM. \n1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (parade steps off at 1 PM; truck judging and check-in run 9 AM–12 PM beforehand; awards ceremony around 5 PM)
