This Veterans Day weekend, the Sullivan Catskills come together to honor and celebrate those who have served our nation. Communities across our region are hosting meaningful ceremonies and events, offering residents and visitors multiple opportunities to show their respect and gratitude to our veterans.
Veterans Day Events:
Saturday, November 9
- Woodbourne: 1 p.m. – The 26th Annual Veterans Day Parade
Monday, November 11
- Bethel: 11 a.m. – Veterans Day Services at Veterans Park
- Eldred: 11 a.m. – Service at Heroes Park
- Grahamsville: 11 a.m. – Flag-Raising Ceremony at Grahamsville Rural Cemetery, followed by ceremony at Neversink Town Hall
- Liberty: 5-7 p.m. – Spaghetti dinner at Liberty Elks Lodge #1545 (Veterans eat free!)
- Long Eddy: 11 a.m. – Veterans honor ceremony & luncheon at Long Eddy Firehouse
- Monticello: 9 a.m. – Landfield Avenue Synagogue ceremony
- Monticello: 10:30 a.m. – Sullivan County Government Center ceremony
- Summitville: 9 a.m. – Service at Summitville Firehouse
- Wurtsboro: 8 a.m. & 11 a.m. – VFW Post services
