DESCRIPTION:Have the Time of Your Life!\nDirty Dancing at the Delaware Valley Opera’s Historic Nutshell Music Hall\nJoin the Borscht Belt Historical Marker Project for a special Catskills evening celebrating history\, music\, and Dirty Dancing—the iconic film inspired by the Catskills resort era. \nBefore the film\, join us for the dedication of the Borscht Belt Historical Marker Project‘s 19th historic marker\, honoring the intertwined histories of Lake Huntington\, Fosterdale\, Kenoza Lake\, and Callicoon—communities that formed a vibrant resort corridor where Jewish\, Polish\, Italian\, Black\, and health- and worker-focused resorts created a uniquely diverse Catskills summer culture. \nThe dedication begins at 5:00 PM at Sullivan West High School\, the former site of the Green Acres Hotel.
