DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Earth Day at the historic Callicoon Depot on Saturday\, April 25th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, rain or shine. This community-focused event brings together local organizations dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship in the heart of Callicoon. \nJoin in for a variety of engaging activities\, including the annual Upper Delaware Litter Sweep from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.\, where volunteers help clean up the hamlet with all supplies provided. The Outside Institute will also host guided nature walks at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.\, offering an educational look at the region’s diverse ecosystem. \nParticipating organizations include Catskill Mountainkeeper\, Sullivan County Soil & Water Conservation District\, Sullivan County Department of Public Health\, Delaware Highlands Conservancy\, The Outside Institute\, Farm Arts Collective\, and Homestead School. \nSpend the day connecting with your community and learning ways to support a healthier planet.
