The Mamakating Environmental Education Center (MEEC) has officially launched kayak rentals at the beautiful Bashakill—making it easier than ever to explore one of Sullivan County’s natural gems!
Thanks to the Rent.Fun App, renting a kayak is now as simple as a tap on your phone. The app lets you unlock and pay for a kayak rental instantly, and every rental includes paddles and a life jacket so you can feel safe and prepared on the water.
Located at the Mamakating Enviornmental Education Center and open daily from sunrise to sunset, kayaking is only $30 for the first 2 hours, then just $10 per hour after that.
Whether you’re a seasoned paddler or a first-timer, this is your chance to glide through the serene waters of the Bashakill and take in the surrounding wetlands and wildlife.
