Next, head over to Jeffersonville and visit Bridle Hill Farm for a winter trail ride. Dating back to the 1830’s the property now operates as a full-service, solar-powered equestrian facility offering horseback riding lessons, boarding, educational programs, and much more. While they offer a wide variety of summer camp activities, the winter trail rides will take you on a scenic ride through the farm.

Hit the Slopes at Holiday Mountain

Another great option for your winter adventure is to take a trip to Holiday Mountain, located in Monticello. Holiday Mountain is open from mid-December until mid-March and has everything you need for a ski trip—and then some! The terrain is perfect for first-time skiers who want a beginner’s hill as well as expert trails for the more seasoned skiers and snowboarders.
