Nestled in Bethel, right around the corner from Bethel Woods Center for the Performing Arts, you won’t want to miss taking a winter trail ride with Rolling Stone Ranch.

Next, head over to Jeffersonville and visit Bridle Hill Farm for a winter trail ride. Dating back to the 1830’s the property now operates as a full-service, solar-powered equestrian facility offering horseback riding lessons, boarding, educational programs, and much more. While they offer a wide variety of summer camp activities, the winter trail rides will take you on a scenic ride through the farm.

Hit the Slopes at Holiday Mountain

Another great option for your winter adventure is to take a trip to Holiday Mountain, located in Monticello. Holiday Mountain is open from mid-December until mid-March and has everything you need for a ski trip—and then some! The terrain is perfect for first-time skiers who want a beginner’s hill as well as expert trails for the more seasoned skiers and snowboarders. Beginners will love Huckleberry Ridge, intermediate skiers will find fun on Cinnamon Trail and experts will be challenged by Black Forest Glades. Ready to hit the slopes?
