From the moment you arrive at The Yasgur Road Campground, you are family. The former homestead of the Yasgur Family is located on 100 acres of field and forest in The Town of Bethel, NY. You can camp carside in the field or, have the full experience of camping in the forest. We have 26 RV sites offering electric, water and sewer hook ups. The fields and RV sites have magnificent views of The Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. The views span a 60 mile panorama of undeveloped countryside. Camping in the woods is our main attraction. We have primitive camping in the woods. There are no designated campsites. There are bathrooms, showers, firepits, and sometimes even a stage with live music. The trails throughout the woods lead you to our famous drum circle. It is a true hippie experience to sit around a raging fire surrounded by drummers sharing a beat from the heart. You will feel the camaraderie that has defined the Woodstock Spirit for over 50 years.
