Two week art immersion summer program for ages 10-15
Over the course of two weeks, participants will dive into the world of rock opera where music, storytelling, and theatricality collide in spectacular fashion.
Led by seasoned musicians, theater professionals, and experienced instructors, your child will explore the vibrant history and artistry of rock opera, gaining insight on the genre’s dramatic narratives, powerful melodies, and dynamic performances by studying iconic classics to contemporary masterpieces.
Under the guidance of teaching artists, students select from three program tracks: Pit Orchestra, Stage Crew, or Drama, with 10 spots reserved for each. Through a combination of workshops, rehearsals, and collaborative projects, musical talents, stage presence, and teamwork skills will all be devleoped. From vocal coaching to instrument instruction, from choreography to costume and set design, every aspect of the rock opera experience will be explored and honed.
Rock Opera culminates in a final performance, where campers take to the stage to showcase their hard work, passion, and creativity.
