Explore the Bindy Bazaar marketplace, where artisans and vendors sold handcrafted goods, and the tent cities that turned farmland into a home for thousands over “three days of peace and music.” Featuring rare artifacts, large-scale murals, and archaeological discoveries, this exhibit brings Woodstock’s untold stories to life and expands our understanding of Woodstock’s historic landscape.

Peace Rises: Art & Architecture Festival
This September, Bethel Woods will host the Peace Rises Art & Architecture Festival (September 10–14), inviting designers and creatives to build timber structures on the original Woodstock festival grounds. It’s an innovative way to reimagine peace, creativity, and community on a historic stage. They are now accepting submissions until April 21st. Bethel Woods invites university faculty in design or a related field to propose ideas for interactive wooden art installations to be built on the historic grounds of the 1969 Woodstock Festival. Over the course of a five-day live-work festival, accepted participants will collaborate with self-organized teams to build, install, and work through on-site design solutions. For more information on the Festival and submission guidelines, visit the following website https://www.bethelwoodscenter.org/museum/art-architecture-festival-2025.
