Some traditions don’t quit. The Callicoon Center Band has played free concerts for the last 92 years, every Wednesday night at the bandstand in Callicoon Center. It’s the kind of easy summer evening that doesn’t cost a thing, just good music & neighbors out under the sky.
Good to know:
When: Wednesdays at 8pm, through mid August
Where: the bandstand, 1669 The Gulf Rd, Callicoon Center
Cost: free
Bring: a lawn chair or blanket & a cooler with snacks, seating is what you bring yourself
Tip: get there a little early for a good spot, & yes, kids & dogs are welcome. & don’t forget cash for the pie raffle!
