97th Annual Sullivan County Volunteer Firemen’s Association Parade

Sullivan County’s volunteer fire departments come together for the 97th Annual SCVFA Parade, hosted by the Grahamsville Fire Department. This year’s parade marks three milestones at once: the department’s 80th anniversary, the 25th anniversary of 9/11, and the 250th anniversary of American independence. The day kicks off with truck judging and officer check-in from 9 AM–12 PM, followed by line-up at noon and the parade at 1 PM. Stick around afterward for family activities and firefighter competitions, with an awards ceremony around 5 PM. Route 42 will have a closure starting at 9:30 AM for parade setup; a shuttle bus runs from the fairgrounds to the line-up point from 9 AM–12:30 PM.

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM (parade steps off at 1 PM; truck judging and check-in run 9 AM–12 PM beforehand; awards ceremony around 5 PM)
