Adult Digital Photo Editing Workshop

One-day digital photography workshop for adults at the Conservatory at Bethel Woods
Get your photo skills holiday-ready in this one-day digital photography editing workshop! With the advanced tools available in today’s photo editing software, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Where do I begin? How can I make this photo really “pop?” What about all those AI features–should I be worried? Here to calm your nerves, photographers Kandace Gittleman and Marika Robak provide hands-on instruction that will teach you how to approach the editing process, understand the basics of Adobe Lightroom Classic, with special attention given to newly-integrated, AI-based photo editing tools, and get your family holiday portraits, travel photos, and more ready to print. Students will have access to Mac desktop computers at Bethel Woods’ Conservatory and will leave with print-service ready photographs, plus the skills to edit images independently all year long!
For this workshop, you will need:
• A USB drive
• 5 photos of yours that you’d like to edit, saved your USB drive; raw format is preferred or high resolution JPEG.
• Ideally, an Adobe account (a free trial is fine) that you can sign in to while working on Mac desktops
Please note, we will not be spending any time photographing during this workshop–you must bring your own images to edit. You will not be required to bring a camera (though you can always bring one if you want to!).
