Celebrate Earth Day at the historic Callicoon Depot on Saturday, April 25th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. This community-focused event brings together local organizations dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship in the heart of Callicoon.
Join in for a variety of engaging activities, including the annual Upper Delaware Litter Sweep from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where volunteers help clean up the hamlet with all supplies provided. The Outside Institute will also host guided nature walks at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., offering an educational look at the region’s diverse ecosystem.
Participating organizations include Catskill Mountainkeeper, Sullivan County Soil & Water Conservation District, Sullivan County Department of Public Health, Delaware Highlands Conservancy, The Outside Institute, Farm Arts Collective, and Homestead School.
