Free 10-Week Program For Teens Looking to Jam

Unleash your inner Rock Star! 
Teen musicians looking for a band? This is your after-school playground. Project Identity: Open Studios Rock Band gives teens a place to get together and make music. Located at the historic site of Woodstock, you will have access to instruments, rehearsal space, and music mentors to help you develop your unique sound. This 10-week program will offer teens a place to connect and collaborate musically, whether making original music or jamming to some of their favorite tunes. Teaching Artists will be on hand to help with instruction and skill-building, and the studio spaces provide ample space for exploring and experimentation with new instruments and equipment. The experience will conclude in an epic rock show for friends and family.

What to expect:
• FREE rock music experience for teens ages 13-18, aimed at intermediate to advanced guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboardists, and vocalists. Prior rock band experience is not required, but students should have some experience with one of these instruments.
• Access to pro-level studios, musical instruments, and editing software like Logic and Protools
• Mentorship from experienced teaching artists
• Collaboration with fellow creative teens
