Tusten Jazz: Tree Trini Collective featuring Fay Victor + Joy in an Ugly World featuring Lee Taylor

Tusten Jazz presents a double bill at the Tusten Theatre! Tree Trini Collective, featuring vocalist Fay Victor with Lyndon Achee on steelpan and Jessie Cox on drums, explores the rich tradition of experimentation in the music of Trinidad and Tobago through improvisation and original compositions. Joy in an Ugly World features Brooklyn-based singer and songwriter Lee Taylor, with Marius Van Den Brink on piano, Steve Wood on bass and Ismail Lawal on drums. They blend blues and jazz with a gritty edge earned from years of live performance. Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door.
