Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association Celebrates the Successful Opening of Three New Jeffersonville Businesses

Cuppie Cake Desserts, Double D Sourdough, and Toast Now Open to Welcome Visitors and Locals Alike in Vibrant Jeffersonville

November 12, 2024 Liberty, NY — The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association is pleased to announce the successful grand opening of three unique and locally-owned businesses in Jeffersonville— Cuppie Cake Desserts, Double D Sourdough, and Toast—marking an exciting expansion of the town’s culinary and community offerings. The opening celebrations took place on Saturday, November 9, bringing together residents, business owners, and visitors for a day of festivities, tastings, and ribbon-cutting ceremonies.

Cuppie Cake Desserts kicked off their celebration with sweet treats, giveaways, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Since launching in 2018, owner Heather DeGori has turned her passion for baking into a thriving business, catering to weddings, birthdays, and “just because” treats. The grand opening of her Jeffersonville storefront marks a significant milestone for DeGori, fulfilling her vision of establishing a bakery in just three years.

Double D Sourdough, founded by friends and co-owners Donovan and Diehl, celebrated the grand opening of their bakery with a ribbon-cutting event at 11 a.m. The bakery offers a variety of artisanal sourdough flavors, including cinnamon sugar with raisin, jalapeño cheddar, garlic parmesan, and more, and features home and kitchen essentials. Visitors to Double D can look forward to a diverse range of handcrafted breads rooted in tradition and community spirit.

Toast welcomed guests for its grand opening celebration at 11:30 a.m. With an inviting ambiance, Toast offers a curated selection of wines and locally sourced food. Owners Michael Gallagher and Ryan Fuller envisioned a place where friends could connect over quality food and drink, while also supporting local partnerships and sustainable practices. As they put it, Toast is dedicated to “Celebrating Good Food and One Another.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Cuppie Cake Desserts, Double D Sourdough, and Toast to Jeffersonville’s thriving community,” says Roberta Byron Lockwood, President and CEO of the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association. “These businesses bring a unique blend of passion, community connection, and commitment to quality that enhances our region’s appeal. Each embodies the spirit of local entrepreneurship and adds depth to Jeffersonville’s offerings, making it an even more inviting destination for residents and visitors alike.”
