This year, we celebrate World Pride, Gay Pride – celebrating the men and women who have fought tirelessly against discrimination. Bee Yo’ Self Dance Party
Dress to impress! Studio 54 comes to Narrowsburg. On Saturday, June 29, The Laundrette will turn into a disco dance party in celebration of Gay Pride Month. Proceeds from the $20 cover will go to the Amida Care Fund at Stonewall Community Foundation and the Narrowsburg Honey Bee Fest.
Catskills Pride
Celebrate your pride with the Catskills Pride community – a non-profit committed to nurturing, supporting and advancing the LGBTQ+ community of the Sullivan Catskills. This month, gather with the group at Forestburgh Playhouse on Thursday, June 11 for the opening performance of “The Mystery of Irma Vep” – a hilarious, quick-change marathon in which two actors play all the roles. On Saturday, June 22, 3-7pm – Catskills Pride joins Stickett Inn for an afternoon to recognize and celebrate Gay/World Pride. Kick back, relax, make new friends – tickets are available now and are just $10.
Priscilla Queen of the Desert & Pride Cabaret
Forestburgh Playhouse, the oldest continuously operating professional summer theatre in New York State welcomes everyone to celebrate gay pride in the Sullivan Catskills. Starting Tuesday, July 30 through Sunday, August 11, catch “Priscilla Queen of the Desert” – a musical based on the smash-hit movie. A dazzling array of outrageous costumes and a hit parade of dance-floor faves make this a wildly fresh and funny performance you can’t miss! Before or after the show, head to the Tavern for “Pride” Cabaret. Imagine a tapestry of music by some of the greats – Elton John, The Indigo Girls, The Culture Club and more.
50 Years of Love & Pride
The Hurleyville Arts Centre is celebrating 50 years of love and pride with a special celebration on Saturday, July 27. Learn how to vogue during their dance workshop with Hetrick-Martin Institute, the nation’s largest and very first LGBTQ Youth Services organization; listen and dance to national bands; watch incredible drag and aerial performances; and, so much more!
