“Line Up” by Kenneth Keng

New York-based Filipino-Chinese playwright and performer Kenneth Keng makes work about falling in love with a culture devouring his own. Saturday, May 9th, Kenneth and his collaborators will present a staged reading of his new play, Line Up at NACL in Highland Lake, NY. Homemade soup and conversation with the artists will follow the presentation.
Line Up is a full-length play about immigration, colonialism and empire — specifically about how empires weaponize motherhood to drive the exploitation of women from poor nations.
