The Farmhouse Project’s Makers Market

Saturday & Sunday, September 1 & 2 • 11am-6pm
The Farmhouse Project, a lifestyle blog and home goods brand, is hosting a one-of-a-kind market in a historic barn. The Makers Market, a modern interpretation of the traditional craft fair, will be a unique two-day market of carefully curated artisans from local studios and workshops throughout the region. Along with these local makers, The Arnold House will provide an amazing farm-fresh BBQ and local musicians will create a lively and festive atmosphere with great vibes. A great place to start your holiday shopping – just saying. Bonus – the first 100 guests receive a free tote bag (pictured above).

The Harvest Festival at Bethel Woods

Sundays, September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 • 11am-4pm
Family fun and its finest! 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the Harvest Festival – which celebrates the bounty, talent, and beauty of the Sullivan Catskills. Begin your day with a Farm to Table Brunch in the market sheds; then set up a blanket and listen to live music in front of the festival stage. Snack on BBQ, kettle corn or hand-cut French fries. Stock up on specialty and prepared foods; bring home farm-fresh produce and meat. With a variety of craft and artisan goods, you’re sure to find something new for you or the home. Best part – there’s plenty to occupy the kids… pony rides, a corn maze, and interactive arts and crafts and activities. Admission is free, parking is $3. No pets, please.

Catskill International Film Festival

Catskills Fiber Festival

New this year, the Catskills Fiber Festival will showcase the many fiber farms, weavers, spinners, knitters, felters, quilters, and designers in the region. Met the llamas, sheep, goats, and bunnies; catch a demo on needle felting, drop spindling, spinning and more. Talk with the experts and enjoy a craft cocktail thanks to the host – Catskill Distilling Co. Jeff Jamboree

Good old-fashioned fun awaits at the Jeff Jamboree… Start the day at their pancake breakfast before you bid on an array of fresh pies. There’s a dog parade, tractor parade, and a duck race too! Live birds of prey will capture the attention of kids, along with laser tag and rock climbing. Shop a wide variety of vendors along Main Street and wind down your day with a delicious bite at Tavern on Main, Samba Cafe or the Welsh Cabin.

Narrowsburg Honeybee Fest

Save the bees! In their 4th year, the Narrowsburg Honeybee Fest aims to promote awareness of our declining honeybee population through demonstrations and education. Local and regional vendors will have a variety of bee-related goodies; bee experts will be on hand to answer questions and teach you beekeeping techniques. Dress up as a bee (or as a bear dressed as a bee) to enter the fun costume contest. Delight your taste buds at the honey tasting and visit the shops along Main Street. Family friendly, free admission – make a day of it or spend the weekend at Moonriver Inn.

Hilly Acres Farm Fest

Sullivan 180 Healthy Living Festival
