November 6th, 2024 Liberty, NY — The Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association is delighted to announce the grand opening of three businesses in Jeffersonville; Cuppie Cake Desserts, Double D Sourdough and Toast, which are all having their opening celebrations on Saturday, November 9th at various times.
Cuppie Cake Desserts, located at 4887 State Route 52 in Jeffersonville, will be celebrating from 10am-4pm with giveaways, delicious, sweet treats and an official ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate the day! Since their inception in December of 2018, Cuppie Cake has specialized in delicious treats for weddings, birthdays, dessert bars and most importantly, “just because” treats. Heather DeGori, a business owner and mother of two, envisioned opening a storefront for her baked goods within five years, and she has achieved this dream in merely three.
Double D Sourdough, named in honor of co-owners and friends Donovan and Diehl, is located in Jeffersonville at 4886 State Route 52 and is celebrating their grand opening at 11 am on November 9th. Double D Sourdough prides themselves on utilizing their knowledge and love to bake delicious sourdough loaves for consumers. Serving flavors like traditional, whole wheat, cinnamon sugar with raisin, jalapeno cheddar, garlic parmesan and more, Double D is sure to impress with their range of products and delicious breads. In addition to their sourdough, visitors can shop around for home and kitchen essentials at their storefront as well.
Toast is an exciting new business coming to Jeffersonville, celebrating their grand opening at 11:30 am on Saturday, November 9th. Located at 4893 NY-52, Toast is a new cozy spot for wine and locally sourced bites coming to Jeffersonville, proudly owning the tagline “Celebrating Good Food and One Another.” Michael Gallagher and Ryan Fuller, who have been friends for over two decades, saw the potential of the small town of Jeffersonville and decided to create a space for people to connect and get together, while also enjoying some great wine and food. Toast also places a focus on local partnerships, uplifting Jeffersonville and Sullivan County, as well as environmentally friendly practices, in addition to serving as a celebratory gathering space.
“We are thrilled to welcome and celebrate the addition of Cuppie Cake Desserts, Double D Sourdough, and Toast to Jeffersonville’s vibrant community,” says President and CEO, Roberta Byron Lockwood. “Each of these unique businesses brings a distinctive flavor and passion that enhances our region’s diverse offerings. From Heather DeGori’s delectable baked creations at Cuppie Cake to Donovan and Diehl’s handcrafted sourdough selection at Double D, and the warm, inviting ambiance of Toast by longtime friends Michael Gallagher and Ryan Fuller, these businesses embody the spirit of local entrepreneurship, community connection, and sustainability.
