📣 History lovers! Last night we celebrated another milestone in Loch Sheldrake as the @borschtbelthistoricalmarkers unveiled their 12th marker celebrating the area’s resort history.

So many people shared stories about the old hotels and their families, including Hayley Saymen from @stagedoormanor, a prestigious acting camp just up the road from town.

Stagedoor Manor used to be the Karmel Hotel in the Borscht Belt days and over the last 50 years as a camp, it has hosted some amazing talent including Natalie Portman, Robert Downey Jr., Jon Cryer, Lea Michele, and Sebastian Stan.

There are three more markers coming this summer:
• August 23 - Woodbourne at 9pm
• October 5 - Parksville at 2pm
• October 18 - Livingston Manor at 2pm

🎉 What a weekend in Wurtsboro! Founders Day was awesome and on Sunday we celebrated 200 years since the D&H Canal groundbreaking! This historic canal transported coal from Pennsylvania through our region.
