Roscoe Campsite Park – Alpacas in the Heart of Nature
Just a stone’s throw away from Buck Brook, Roscoe Campsite Park (RCP) is home to not just camping and outdoor adventures, but also a few friendly alpacas! After an afternoon trip to Buck Brook Alpacas, the RCP team fell in love with the gentle, majestic nature of these animals. Without hesitation, they decided alpacas would make the perfect addition to their farm.
Now, RCP is home to three male alpacas—Emeril, Moonshine, and Barnabas—who share their pasture with the park’s goats. Watching the goats and alpacas interact has become a real treat for guests, as each animal displays its own unique personality. On special occasions, lucky visitors might even have the chance to step inside the pasture to meet these charming animals and hand-feed them treats, making for an unforgettable experience
