About | A legacy of history,
hospitality & heart

From the very beginning, people came for air that tasted of pine and possibility, for cool summer winds and waters that mirrored the sky—scenery that dazzled through every season.

By the 19th century, the Sullivan Catskills had become a pilgrimage. Grand hotels and humble resorts rose from the hills, shaping legendary hospitality and giving rise to great performances and generations of memories.

The Beaverkill, Willowemoc and Neversink drew anglers from across the world. And in 1969, the hills pulsed with half a million hearts gathered in Bethel for three days of peace, love and music at the Woodstock festival—a moment still echoing through time. Come explore a place that changed history and still changes people today.

Things to do

Rooted, real & radiant

Grounded in the Catskills, shaped by history, adventure and independent minds, this is a place of contrasts: wild and refined, creative and grounded, timeless and always evolving.

Here, the air still feels untouched. Colors stretch wide across the valley and beauty arrives without fanfare, in ways that make you slow down and breathe a little deeper.

The hills now hold more than memories. Nestled among them, places to stay—from cabin-cozy to boutique-chic—inviting couples, friends and families to trade busy schedules for slow mornings and starry nights.

We welcome the makers and the dreamers, the ones who crave wild beauty and warm connection. Farmers’ markets brim with fresh harvests, barn bakeries offer morning sweetness and basement bars pour local spirits with pride. Music drifts from old schoolhouses, fields turn into festivals and every season brings a reason to gather.

Here, push turns to pause. Strangers become neighbors. Sidewalks give way to wildflower paths and winding trails where adrenaline rises with the river’s rush. And when the day exhales, the sky spills open in a million stars, wishing you goodnight.
